Lately there has been an effort to create fake/satire sites owned by non US individuals to generate Ad revenue.
Fake Facebook Pages
Many of these pages are managed out of 3rd world Asian countries. They often share the same website domains for articles links. Some of these deliver Malware to your device. Just block all these FB pages on the list for your safety.
